Very interesting, I may try and build-in the functionality in a future version.
For now though I want you to try this:
In the upload <form></form> in your front end template add this hidden input:
<input type="hidden" name="mgjp_mv_protected" value="on">
Also make sure that your form is submitting via post (the <form> tag should have an attribute like method="post").

This is exactly what I need but for some reason it is not working for me.
I have added the code you suggested to my functions.php which adds the input on my User Frontend form no problem, but it is not protecting the file after submitting the form.
Do I need to include files in my header or something? It would be a great help to get this working.

I am trying to do it mut it doesn’t work. I am using WP User Frontend Pro that creates me forms. Any idea? Sould I check hot it makes the uplaod to the wordpress?
