    Hi

Great product. The only issue I am having is the “on specific URL” rule doesn’t seem to work. I have read on other posts that you thought your latest update changed how that rule worked, but I haven’t seen a solution yet.

When I remove the rule the pop-up works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi @mcpdogs,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I have just tested the latest version of plugin on my test site using “on specific URL” rule and it worked fine.

Can you just test it using different “Pop Over loading method” from the path Admin -> Pop Overs -> Settings ?

Also if you can, just share me the page URL where you are testing it so that i can troubleshoot it.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Jack

    Couple issues we are noticing.

On Firefox, our pop up is really tiny…can barely see it and on IE we are just seeing an “X” but the graphic isn’t showing up. Any help is appreciated!

One of the specific URLS is http://www.akcreunite.org/veterinarians/

    Thank you!

    Hi @mcpdogs

    I have two suggestions.

    1. Check by changing the settings in Popover > Settings
    2. Please use html (text editor) instead of visual editor in editing the popup.

    Let us know.

    Cheers
    Ash

    Hello,

It looks like the plugin is working for Firefox but not in Chrome or IE — it only shows the “X” not the full pop-up.

I currently have it set so the pop-up only shows up when someone visits the homepage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi Ash

Thanks for the reply…I have tried the different settings…same results.

I see that another member is experiencing a similar issue, but in other browsers. After some additional testing we are getting varied results…

On Firefox…the graphic appears tiny on the first view, but then when we click to another page with the pop-up it goes back to the regular size.

On Chrome, we have no issues that we can find.

On IE…the pop-up just gives us the X and no graphic on IE9 but does not appear at all on IE10.

As for using the html editor, our pop up is only a graphic we uploaded, so we didn’t have to use the editor at all..so not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Thanks again for the prompt support!

    Hi @mcpdogs,

On Firefox…the graphic appears tiny on the first view, but then when we click to another page with the pop-up it goes back to the regular size.

I checked your site on chrome & firefox and found on firefox initially the height and width is not getting applied correctly on div.visiblebox. after refreshing page second time it is getting applied correctly.

Can you just share me screenshot of your pop over Appearance settings or tell me values of Appearance settings that you have set?

Try setting Pop over width and height to 100%

On IE…the pop-up just gives us the X and no graphic on IE9 but does not appear at all on IE10.

I checked it and found the X close icon image is getting path from awsp1.akcreunite.org domain where the image is not exist, instead it should refer to the domain http://www.akcreunite.org
Have you edited anything in the plugin or changed it using hooks?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Cassandra,

    Thanks for your question.

I checked the pop over on Firefox, Chrome and IE on my test site and it worked fine.

Can you share me your site link where you are facing problem so that i can debug it?

    Thanks for the reply.

I think I have corrected the firefox issues…I turned off “or use Javascript to resize and center the popover ” and the graphic isn’t appearing tiny on FF.

The IE issue is interesting. I inspected the elements on Chrome and the actual “pop up graphic” that we created has the correct extension, however, the “x” graphic that came installed with your plugin is pulling from our admin server. Any graphic we upload we make a relative path, so we pull away the awsp1.akcreunite.org.. So I wonder why the actual pop up graphic that we uploaded is being pulled in correctly on safari, chrome and firefox, but IE isn’t detecting it?

I have not edited anything in the plugin at all.

    Hi there Mike,

Hope your well today and thanks for the additional information.

So you change the path once you upload your image? Have you edited where uploads are stored at all, via a define in the wp-config.php or similar?

    Please advise 🙂

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    Hi Jack

Doing good thanks. Yes, because the file URL of images we upload contains our admin server domain in front of the path where the image is stored, we remove the domain and make it a relative path.

So when you view our live site, the website only pulls the http://www.akcreunite.org domain and not the admin domain. We have not edited where the uploads are stored.

    Thank you

    Hi Mike

Currently I am not seeing popup in the site: http://www.akcreunite.org/ Do I need to check in any other page?

    Please advice.

    Hi,

It appears that the plugin is only working about half the time on various browsers on a PC and it doesn’t show up at all on a mac.
