Problems While Migrating from Shared to Linux Cloud Server

    Hi, I’ve tried migrating my website from my Shared hosting to cloud Linux hosting. First I moved all of the data inside the html folder than export my previous database from PhpMyAdmin and upload it through the new PhpMyAdmin.
    But my website is still not showing anything (not even any error). it just simply displays a blank page.
    What should I do? Do I’ve to make any changes in the database before uploading it to new server or is there anything else I am missing.
    I also tried moving the data by uploading .WXR file through WordPress importer but after uploading it shows that “The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2013/11”
    Please help as my previous hosting is going to expire in 2-3 days and i want my website live before it.

    Did you change your DNS settings? Does your domain name now point to the new server? What’s your site URL?

    No, before changing the DNS I’am trying to see if the website comes live on the IP address. BTW is it necessary to change to DNS to see the website live.

    Just reread your post. So, if you’ve managed to attempt importing your WordPress data, your site is working at least as far as the Dashboard is concerned. Are you able to read your server logs to see if there any clues there?
