Original Plugin had a Subscribe via Email Form

    Hello Alex the email is taken from the form. Our plugin has new Options 🙂

    Version 140128 is now available with new fixes and upgrades.

    But is there still a php function I can use to manually display a subscription form field where I choose?

    @alex Subscribe to Comments Reloaded never had a function like show_manual_subscription_form(), as far as I know. If you’d like to see this added as a new feature, could you please open a new feature request here: New Feature Request

    I just ran into the same problem after switching from Subscribe to Comments to Subscribe to Comments Reloaded. After much looking and testing, I found that by removing (commenting out) the show_manual_subscription_form() command in comments.php, everything worked as its supposed to. My users see the “You can also subscribe without commenting” text below the comment form and the “subscribe” link in that text works.
