  • I am using the ComicPress theme on my website Whatisdeepfried.com. I am running two diffferent comic strips on alternate days, which I have separated into categories.

What I would like to do is let my readers, when they have opened the specific category of a particular strip, navigate through the strips using the <<previous next>> feature, but without encountering the strips from another category.

In other words, if they open the category archive for Strip X on Wednesday, then try to go to the <<previous strip that was archived on Monday, they will not first hit Strip Y that was archived in its category on Tuesday.

ComicPress lets you keep the navigation separate between the Blog category and the Comic category (which is part of the theme), but not apparently between multiple Comic categories.

I have created a separate category.php in the ComicPress theme folder for the strip in question, and I suspect that template tags will be the answer, but I don’t know what the code should be or where to insert it. Can anyone help?
