Install this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/
And add following CSS:
h1.site-title{
font-size:30px;
}
h2.site-description{
font-size:20px;
}
Thank you Nilambar. I have installed the plugin like you suggested. How do I add the CSS? When I click update, I get a warning. Where exactly would I add the CSS. I am new to wordpress so please help.
After you activate that plugin, go to Appearance -> Custom CSS. In the text area, copy/paste the above code. Change the font size as you wish.
Nilambar, I really appreciate your help. I did it and it’s the font in the header area that changed. I need to change the headline font for each post. Please tell me how to do that? Thanks a million.
Try:
h1.entry-title {
font-size: 32px;
}
Adjust as you like.
Thank you so much WPyogi! That worked. One more thing, please tell me how to center the site name and make the tag line bold. Thanks so much for your help. I highly appreciate it.:-)
Sure thing – try this:
.site-title, .site-description {
text-align: center;
}
h2.site-description {
font-weight: bold;
}
Wow, thanks so much WPyogi. It worked! I can’t thank you enough.
You’re certainly welcome :)!
