Activity feed has numbers after username

I’m having the same problem as another user, but was told by the moderator to post my own topic.

I would love to try and get this resolved.

When a user posts something to a person’s wall it shows numbers after the user’s name like:

John1 has wrote on Jake2’s wall.
Mary1 has wrote on Mike2’s wall
