    Hi Andy,
This one is also about categories, I’ve read other threads about this matter but haven’t found a solution. In this way it wouldn’t be necessary to code.

I’ve created a hierarchy with all the categories inside a superior one named ‘ALL’, so –as occurs in other filters in wordpress– when invoking this ‘all’ it returns the whole categories bunch.
But… this isn’t working with the plugin. How can I make this work?

Also I will find very useful to maintain the filtering menu in ‘list view’, is this possible?

    Thanks!

diggeridoo, can you provide a link showing what you mean? Also, what do you mean when you say it’s not working?

The hierarchy tree doesn’t work within the plugin, when you click on ‘All’ it doesn’t reload all the categories behind it.
This only works when adding to the particular event category the ‘all’ one, then it is listed in both of them BUT this annuls the cat. color due a conflict between the two cat. assigned.

    I hope I’ve explained myself.

When more than one category is assigned to an event, Category Colors is not able to predict which category will have coloring applied. There is a way to ignore certain categories within the plugin and therefore be able to have multiple categories assigned to each event but only have one of those categories colorized.

In your particular situation, I would recommend the following.

    1. Eliminate the ‘All’ category.
    2. Use Legend Superpowers.

If you want to use an ‘All’ category, set the plugin to ignore it. ‘All’ will then NOT show up in coloring or the legend. You would have to manually put the ‘All’ category link into the navigation.

Is there something about the Legend Superpowers that doesn’t work for you?
