Text keeps disappearing

I’ve had major problems since the last update. I keep going to edit a page and ALL the text is missing. It’s been a disaster. I got lucky with the last page since I still had the page open in the browser and was still able to copy the text back into the editor. My entire web site is at risk now. I’m trying to back up the text in Open office but I’m scared I’m going to loose the whole web site and I’m now having to rebuild daily. I’m launching a new magazine next weekend and I’m terrified what’s going to happen with site this unstable. I never had this problem before the last update so you broke something. I swear 50% of all updates break something! They never add features they just break things.
