Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » Solution found : Page title contains keyword does not appear at the beginning

  • Hi, I found the solution for the above problem. So thought of sharing here ..can be beneficial for anyone who needed.

This is for the problem of “The page title contains keyword / phrase, but it does not appear at the beginning; try and move it to the beginning.”

FYI, “The page title” is referring to your “SEO Title” in your “General” tab.

Under the “WordPress SEO By Yoast” section in your admin page, there are 4 tabs. The first tab is “General”

Under the “General” tab you will find a field for “SEO Title”. This is the field represent for “the page title”

So here try to move your keywords to the front. Once you done this, your warning message will disappear under the “page analysis” tab

    Here are some example :
Assume your focus keyword is “coloring book”

Thus in your “SEO title” field, place the focus keyword at the beginning.
Example : “Coloring book with 4 in 1 activities”
With this example, you wont have the error

However if you place the keyword in some other places (not at the beginning) than you will have the error
Example : “4 in 1 activities and coloring book”
See, in above example the focus keyword is not at the beginning thus it lead to warning message in your page analysis” tab

I hope the above explanation with examples will help for those needed.
    Thanks
