I just wanted to add a note here that Intouch does work with WordPress versions 1.5 and up; a lot of people seem to be having problems because they installed the plugin by placing the entire folder inside the plugin directory. All you need to do is just put the files inside the folder into the wp-content/plugins/ directory; I think there are only 3 files that are necessary (so, right now the downloadable plugin has version 1.1 and 1.2 in it, so there are two folders – 1.1 and 1.2; instead of putting the entire 1.1 or 1.2 folder in your wp-content/plugins directory, put the files inside them).

I don’t know if anyone uses this or not, but I have used it for a while, and when I reinstalled it recently I noticed a lot of people had some problems with it because of this; I sent the author a note in case he wants to tweak the file, but until then thought I would at least make a public note here, in case it helps anyone.

  • I’ve just been through that… 🙁 But it works as long as you put the files right under the plugin folder, as drobbins said 😉
