Featured Post Side Colume Widget?

    Hi guys – I am looking for a widget that I can put in my side columns that will show JUST the features articles I designate automatically. I believe I saw this somewhere but have not been able to find it.

    I’m looking for the same thing. Has anyone seen anything that does something like this?

    After looking through a TON of widgets and plugins I finally found one that does the job well enough.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/limited-category-lists-widget/

    Limit the widget to show only posts with for whatever category you want.

    In my case I created a “featured” category, found the category id, plugged it into the widget options, and I was good.
