Events not showing in admin

Hi, I imported some events directly into the database.

Frontend is working fine but in the admin, the list is empty. Strangely it has the correct amount of posts in the published/trash count at the top but none appearing in the list.

They were added exactly the same as a test event I added and this showed up fine.

Is there any sort of caching within the plugin?

can I know what are the tables you’ve inserted it?

Hi, I insert my locations and events into wp_posts as:

post_type = ‘location’
post_type = ‘event’

I then insert the location into wp_em_locations with the post id from the inserted location above.

I then insert the event into wp_em_events with the location id from the wp_em_locations table and the post id from the event I inserted into wp_posts.

Hiya,

EM does a LOT of other processing when it adds events. Chances are that when you’ve inserted those events into the DB you’ve missed crucial extra data that EM needs.

You should roll back that import and use a PHP script to call on the correct EM functions to insert the events instead of directly editing the database.

Do you know where I can find this? I’ve searched the pages but to no avail. I need to resolve it urgently. Event links 404 too – I suspect it’s related.

Yeh i’ve just got someone to create me an ESS file, and have tried to import it.

The error I am getting is simply ‘1.2’ – so not the result I was hoping for!
