Hi Team,

We are using PM Pro v1.7.3.1. The sales tax feature is very nice, however it does not seem to work properly with Stripe. The sales tax does not calculate.

Please let me know if there is something we need to do. The changelog in v1.7 shows hat this was resolved, however the issue persists in our case.

Small Update:

If the customer uses abbreviations for the state, it works as advertised. However if the customer uses the full name of the state, it does not. This makes sense to me, however is there a way to implement a dropdown? Or limit the input characters to 2?

Hi Tommy,

Thanks for letting us know about this. There is a filter you could enable (return true) to display a dropdown of states as opposed to an input box. That filter is named pmpro_state_dropdowns and can be found here in the PMPro code: https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/blob/master/pages/billing.php#L107.

You’ll want to either create a custom plugin, or add code to your theme’s functions.php file to return true for that filter: http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/2012/08/create-a-plugin-for-pmpro-customizations/.
