    Hi
Can you please provide details about the error? Do you get any error messages? This is the first we’ve heard of this error.

    Kind regards
    Nick

Hi Nick, same guy from Sombra.co,

Ok so the error was in Chrome and IE. After accessing the live chat through wordpress admin, it took about 30 secs then the entire wordpress site could not be found. So wordpress admin could not connect, and typing in my site address, site could not be found. Tried accessing from another computer that was not logged into wordpress admin, same results, site could not be found.

After about 1 minute the site would come back, I was not sure what happened. I disabled all newly plugins one at a time to see what was causing this. It stopped after disabling the live chat. I haven’t had any issues since then.

If you want to we can test it. Just let me know how.

    Hi
    Thanks for that feedback.
Which hosting provider are you with and what package are you on?

It’s GoDaddy, and it is Hosting – Web – Economy – Linux – US

    Operating System – Linux
Total Disk Space – 299 MB of 100,000 MB (0.30%)
    Monthly Bandwidth – Unlimited
Email Addresses – Up to 100
    MySQL Databases 10
    Advanced Language Support

Wow! That sounds really scary xzmilan. Hope your problem gets resolved.

Hi ritatoma, it’s not really scary. I don’t think this is a common issue with the plugin, just something to do with my site. I just had to disable the plugin and everything is normal.

So, I’m having what seems to be the exact same problem with my website. Any reason why this thread was marked resolved?

I seem to be having a similar issue, it installs fine but as soon as I connect to a chat session and/or disconnect my entire site goes down for 30 seconds or so and then after multiple refreshes the site is back up.

If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic instead of tagging onto someone else’s topic.

I am now closing this 7 month old resolved topic as it references an older version of WordPress.
