I tried to adjust the German language files (.po and .mo) to my needs and noticed that I just can’t get rid of the English “You will now get an e-mail, if a new comment is posted.”-message in the field under “Confirmation Text (will be shown after user has clicked on the confirmation link)” – even though I changed the files, this one specific sentence won’t disappear in the Options Menue in the WordPress backend.

A comparison with some of the files for other translations shows that the line-values for the subscribe-to-doi-comments-php (e.g. “#: subscribe-to-doi-comments.php:883”) are all over the place – there are total different line-values for some of the translated texts. I think the line-values in all of the translation files need to be adjusted to the present subscribe-to-doi-comments.php.

In the meantime – could you please tell me what to do about the problem described at top of this posting? How do I get rid of this specific English sentence? I know I could just enter the preferred translation right in the WordPress backend – but I’d like it better to adjust the .po and .mo-files.

    Thank you!
