Support » Plugin: WordPress Gallery Plugin - NextGEN Gallery » What is wrong with photocrati?

  • Since photocrati has acquire NGG, problems troubles become unsupportable. Turns a fully usable plugin into a “some times working” plugin. My site has become unstable and slow. I’m now testing another solution. Will be a hard work, cause i have more than 70000 pictures and 90 galleries in my site.

Hi Howard – Photocrati actually acquired NextGEN Gallery in early 2012, so we’ve been maintaining the plugin for a long time (since 1.9.3) and we notably improved the stability of the legacy version over that time. The issues you’re having aren’t from us taking it over, but likely from our major overhaul of the plugin in August (2 months ago).

By now, though, we’ve resolved many of the issues from that update as well. So if you’re having any major stability issues, we’d definitely like to resolve them. There’s not much detail in your post, and I don’t see any previously posted issues from you. Can you provide details either here, or if you’d like more direct responses, via our bug report form: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/

You are welcome to submit WP/FTP login creds as well. It’s very likely that whatever issue you’re having is one we can’t duplicate, so having the creds would allow us to solve it faster. Thanks (Erick).
