• I really like how Brian’s Threaded Comments look on everyone’s sites and so I want to install it on my own. I’ve downloaded the plugin, uploaded the plugin to my plugin directory. I’ve replaced my comments.php and comments-post.php and then activated the plugin. Now everything should work, because I am on WordPress 1.2, right? Wrong! I get this error:

“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/20/d88608368/htdocs/kambiz/anthropology/wp-comments.php on line 88″

Can anyone please tell me what’s wrong? I have a feeling there could be a conflict with another plugin? However I’m not to sure.
My website is Anthropology.net and I’m running the following plugins: Author Page 0.3, Customizable Post Listings 1.1, Search Hilite 1.2, MarkDown 1.0b4, Post teaser 1.0, and Useronline 1.2. No other comment plugins are active nor installed.
    HELP, please!
    Kambiz

  • I have the same problem, unfortunately.
I deactivated the plugin, supplanted Brian’s files with the originals and then deleted his plugin. Every time I try to comment, I get this error notice: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phprequire() in …/wp-comments-post.php on line 1.”
I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could help us?

The only other plugin I have activated is WP-Grins. I’ve already deleted Brian’s Threaded Comments from the plugins folder fater first deactivating it and supplanting his files with the originals.
    Help?

I fixed my comments by downloading the WP installation package again and uploading the wp-comments.php and wp-comments-post.php from the package to the root dir. This should fix the problem.

I’m having exactly the same problem. And to compound it, Brian’s blog won’t let me post a comment for some reason! It keeps timing out. Any tips much appreciated – I came here from LiveJournal and I’d love to have threaded comments.
