    Hi,
I just want to completely uninstall BruteProtect plugin and then re install again. So previous blocked user can login again normally.

Some of my user have been blocked by this plugin for frequent failed login attempt(may be). Now they can login successfully when I deactivated this plugin. I want to use this plugin and also want to keep well those user access. What should I do? please help.

I’m using latest version of this plugin(0.9.9.9b)

    Thanks

    Hello Anas–

Uninstalling and re-installing will not help, as blocks are determined by our central database, not your local install.

If you have users who have been blocked, but you would like to allow them to access the site, you can white list their IP address in the BruteProtect settings.

    Thanks for your quick replay.

is there any way to get blocked user information by using my API key? So I can use their IP address in white list accordingly.

    Thanks again

No, there’s no way to see this, but the user who is blocked sees their IP address as part of their block notification

    Thanks,
    Sam
