A sidenote which is maybe worth mentioning – when I changed the default gallery templates in the NextGen config I got following error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/axxadcbw/dev.website.com/wp-content/plugins/role-scoper/admin/filters-admin-save_rs.php on line 13
@daevid – This sounds like a fairly obvious theme conflict with the NextGEN Gallery plugin although your “sidenote” is not something we have come across so there may also be additional conflicts with one or more of your active plugins.
If you would like to submit a Bug report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please note this thread) we can try to help you sort out what the issues might be.
Thanks!

Thanks Cais! But what could it possibly be? Has there anything been changed in regards of themes with NextGEN Gallery 2?
@daevid – There is nothing in particular and we are making every effort to ensure there are as few as possible themes experiencing a conflict with NextGEN plugins but we can only work with what we know and what is reported.
If we find it is something to do with our code then we make every effort to address it, if we find it may be something with another author’s code then we would make every effort to share our findings, too.

Still haven’t solved the issue, that’s why I have created a bug report. This is really urgent and I hope that NextGEN 2.0.37 will solve, but it’s still the same.
I have also included credentials to access the WP instance with the mentioned issue. Is there a way that I see the status or be able to update the bug report?
I also tried to find the issue in the NextGEN source – any hints where the problem may occur from (i.e. where the default/custom template handling is done)?
@daevid – Thank you, I believe I have just responded to your Bug Report. We can continue troubleshooting you site via that conversation.
Thanks!

Thanks, I got your answer! I can assure the issue is not plugin but theme related.
