    Hi,

This plugin is to add shortcode buttons to TinyMCE, and If you will disable the TinyMCE, Then this plugin will not show shortcode button, however shortcodes will work. So in that case you have to write the shortcodes yourself and we don’t thinks that’s good idea.

Second point, please share the error message which you are getting, it must be some js issue. We will check the issue, and if our script is creating this issue, we will try to resolve that ASAP. On the other hand, if this is not our issue, we can tell you the exact issue so that you can talk to EventEspresso plugin support team.

    Thanks

I managed to disable the TinyMCE and the problem was resolved.

The conflict comes with EventEspresso, when you want to EDIT a post (event) in the VISUAL mode (Text mode is fine). The edit content goes blank. I’ll try to dig in and will let you know.

    Thanks for the great work!

Thanks, and shortly we will provide the documentation for EBS so that users can write the shortcodes even if they have disabled the TinyMCE.
