    Hello Vincent,

Our website still has some IE 7 visitors… Folder Slider now shows the slides beneath each other in IE 7. It’s not very important, but would it be possible to disable the slides and for instance only show the 1st slide, in a future version? No hurry, but just to be kind to our users.

    Regards, Ernst

According to http://bxslider.com is should work with IE7+. Maybe a CSS problem?
I don’t have IE7 anymore. Could you try the sample page on http://bxslider.com and check if the problem comes from bxslider or from my (CSS ?) plugin?

Sorry, should have tried that first! I did now and bxslider does work with IE 7. BTW, I use IE 10 with the F12 function key to test the IE 7 environment. I will do some more testing (am using it in a modified 2012 theme) and get back to you.

OK i tried it on your example page jalby.org/wordpress (it’s the 2012 template too) with IE10 <F12> and browser mode IE 7, and it has the same problem, so it seems the problem is in the plugin, not the lib.

Hello Vincent, did some more tests. In IE 7 the slider.js triggers an error on line 20. It’s because line 19 (the last param) ends with an ‘,’ so it’s expecting another param. Why it only triggers an error in IE 7 is beyond me, but removing the ‘,’ solves the problem in IE 7.

Great job! Thanks so much for debugging. I’m too busy right now to release an update, but I will ASAP.

    Thanks again,

    Vincent
