• Hi I have just built a WP Website for a charity but wondered if AAM would help me solve a problem.

When I hand the site over I will be handing it over to people with less computer skills than myself and that is not saying much being a self taught silver surfer.

Because of their lack of ability I would like to be able to allow them to post to posts and pages and to enter events but not access the dashboard below ‘Contact’. Being unable to access any of the tools below ‘Contact’ would prevent them from tinkering with things they do not understand.

My main question is would I be able to do this using AAM and is there a way of giving them a different Log in Username and Password to access their level of the Dashboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    regards

    David Dutch

  • Hi David,
Yeap. This is what AAM was designed for.
As I see, you already have a clear vision what they should do.
No, just restrict access do admin menu and limit the capabilities.
