Generation of custom meta tags

    This is no doubt one of the most widely used modules for the SEO stuffs and WP users are heavily dependent on it for complete SEO. But at certain point we need to output custom meta tags and felt the necessity for another plugins to do that like meta tag manager. Installing another plugins for small small things will be a performance overhead specially for general sites on shared server. So, it will be nice if this module have the capability to add custom meta tags since metas are SEO stuffs.

    Just a feature suggestion.

    Thanks for the suggestion; All in One SEO Pack does have options for adding code to the head section of your site, either statically from the General Settings, or programmatically by using the aioseop_modules_wp_head hook; alternatively, you can use the wp_head hook within WordPress to do this as well.

    There might required several different meta tags related to different service integration & purposes – for example: adding FaceBook like/share/recommendation, Geo location integration, etc…

    Now with such situation, you have to installed plugins for each small small purpose which is not the best way to go.

    I personally don’t like to install plugins for each small task. I have previously used meta tag manager but it results performance degrade with AIOSEOP. So, I discontinued meta tag manager and hard coded the custom metas in the header.
