Documentation & Default Featured Image?

Hola! Thank you for making this beautiful theme. I am a theme developer and I stumbled upon it and I would like to offer to do some written documentation on how to use the theme, for you to include in the plugin and or WordPress plugin page. If interested, please let me know how to best submit the info to you.

I was wondering if it would be an easy thing to do to have the featured image default to the first uploaded picture in that post for use on the front page posts? I am using Pressgram and it creates a post with an image in the content area but it does not set the featured image, so I was trying to work around this so I can use this as my theme for my photoblog. Any information would be much appreciated.
