[Theme: Esplanade] Always shows top menu, even though I have not set one

    Hi

    I have a site that is using top menus, and to try out a new theme I made a copy and installed theme “Esplanade”. No matter what I do, this theme insists on showing a top menu with every possible menu item ever created in it.

    (It also shows custom menu #1 in the left sidebar, and custom menu #2 in the right sidebar, created as widgets – which is all I want!)

    I can make custom menu #1 my “primary menu” – in which case that displays in the “top” position, which is less appalling than the default – but I don’t want ANY top menu whatsoever! Is there anything I can do about this?
