Layout of event page – want featured image aligned left, not top center

Hello all, and I apologize if this is beyond the scope of this forum but…

I would love to have the featured image aligned left, instead of aligned center with the description below. I want users to immediately see the event description, not have to scroll down below the image in order to see it. Any advice?

P.S. Using Elegant Theme’s Feather theme, and have the event cal settings set to “full styles” and the event page set to “full width page.”
