• Hello All,

I cannot get WordPress to recognize the ” [contactform] ” code. It just shows up as text… πŸ™

I’ve updated to the most current version of this plugin, and no matter if I put the tag in the header or sidebar, it still shows as literally text, instead of recognizing it as a tag.

    Any ideas?
    gracias,
    Kyprian

  • Hi there,
Just a thought- is it a line of code something like <-contact form-> sort of thing, where you need to embed it into a Contact page?

If it is, go back into the editor, switch the editor mode from VISUAL to CODE, paste in the snippet of code, sve it, and see if that did the trick.

If not, hopefully someone with a clue might jump in, this is all I can help with.

Actually, the plugin states that the code is “[contactform]” without the quotes, but using the square brackets, but it comes up as literal text and not the code, regardless of whether put in text editor or code editor (its a header.php page)
but it still won’t show the form πŸ™
