    Hello,

I have read where people don’t want the ellipses, or … after their excerpt, but I find it a helpful signal to readers that the text is cut off on purpose. Then the “Read More” button below tells them where to go.

I have the plugin configured to limit content, and I would like to do this without the <!–more–> tag in the body of the post.

    Here is the site: http://www.bishopkey4u.com

It seems like it would be easy, but I can’t figure it out. Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Figured my way around this one too.

    Thanks!

If you remember how you did this/what you did, would you share here, please?

    Hi Krystyn,

It has been a while, and I am still relatively new to this, so I sometimes forget what I did. I checked my custom functions, and there doesn’t appear to be anything fancy. It seems that all I did was– in the Widget under “Content Type”– I selected “Show Content Limit”, and then under that: “limit content to 80 characters”.

    I hope that helps!
