We’re getting the “some of your cart items are targeted specifically to certain markets” error when some people try to check out, but I have every market (every country) enabled as a shipping destination within the WP e-Commerce settings.

Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

  • Most likely you’ve got some countries disabled in the target markets set against your “categories” (Not the main setting).

I have the same issue, but in all my categories I have target markets set to “all”. Should they not be checked off in categories? Some residents from Florida are unable to checkout because a product says its unavailable to their location, however I have USA checked, so not sure why they are getting this message. What else would cause this message to come up?

When I upgraded the wp e commerce plugin I had the same problem, it seems it automatically checked the United Kingdom, what I did iwas uncheck it.

    Hope it helps

Well I have United Kingdom checked, because I want to ship to United Kingdom. I have all countries checked in both general settings and categories, so I’m not sure why I am getting the message.. shipping is also enabled.

Disable the target countries in the categories and try like that

That seemed to do it, Thanks Mihai!
