    Hello All,

I’m working on a new wordpress build. Found here.

My theme requires a static homepage that is set on a template. This allows me to add a slider and such.

When I switch to a static homepage I get this notice.
“Notice: Object of class WP_Post could not be converted to int in /usr/home/whirlmag/public_html/whirlmagazine.com/test/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 195”

I have disabled all plugins and it still will not work. If I set static homepage to a page that has the standard template and just text on it, it works.

    Thanks in advance,

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.

The issue is occuring in post-template.php. A wordpress file.

    But thanks anyway.

The issue is in your theme. Can you replicate the issue when using the 2013 theme?

    Oh, my apologies.
I tried to replicate the issue in 2013 and the problem was resolved.

Thanks for turning me in the right direction.
