Blank PHP file after editing and saving

On my VPS, when I edit theme PHP files and save it, the PHP file becomes blank. I tried IE, FF and Chrome on two different cPanel accounts. Sites has different plugins, different themes (tested on Twenty Twelwe) and I tried both udated and not updated WordPress.
