Why not use the default Archive & Category widgets? They both have the option to show post counts.
Thanks Media X.
ok, you can call me stupid lol
I did not see that option.
However, there is something missing.
the post count shows only when i am on a page that is not a menu page.
if I am on a header menu page like “home” or “contact”, the post count doesnt show 🙁
do you have any idea why ?
Can you post the URL of the page where you don’t see the post count?
ok, i tried to load the website on the ipad and it shows well.
so i think it’s fine.
it must be the browser that was loading the page stored in the cache or something like that.
do u know how to prevent that ?
because after changing the theme (just to see), after refreshing the homepage, the website was still loading with the previous theme.
that is not exactly WP related, it is more a firefox thing i know, but if anyone had an answer that would be great !
Are you using a caching plugin?
there you go! I had the following plugin activated : WP super cache.
I don’t know well how to use it obviously.
I thought the issue came from firefox caching feature.
I am wondering now if it really is a good thing to have that plugin activated, because I don’t want the readers of my blog to miss any updates I come with because of this plugin.
thanks media x !
