support for beginners

    Hello although I have had a website through wordpress for some time now, I am a novice and am looking for support on learning more about HMTL, CSS, javascript and more. Is there anywhere on this site that explains these things from the start, in simple terms? Or can anyone suggest a good learning forum, site, link or other to help me with these topics? Any help out there would be so appreciated.

    “WordPress web design for dummies” by Lisa Sabin-Wilson is excellent.

    Don’t get “wordpress for dummies” as this is basic, get the one above, it’ll take you beyond the dashboard and under the hood, explaining themes, child themes, CSS, PHP and stuff like that

    http://www.w3schools.com/ is also excellent for taking you through HTML, CSS, and PHP – learnt loads on that site, and it is my reference site for code.
