An easy 4 stars

Works well and deserves 5 stars but for the time check being broken. In the config settings postie allows adding a time differential to account for time zones but it doesn’t appear to work. Author says it’s fixed in the next release.
I wasn’t able to configure postie to work with Gmail, it just didn’t want to happen, but was able to easily configure to my hosting account email (totalchoicehosting.com) which proved to be a good thing. The site I’m building serves two distinct groups each of whom needs a distinct email address to post – I set up all the needed addresses for posting and then forward them all to a central address that postie sees.
Wasn’t able to find anything better than postie!
