    Draft site, but according to the navigation,none of the pages exist!
    Even when I create a link to the page, the page doesn’t exist!

    There are 5 pages, and they do all exist and they have been published though the site is still not public.

    Help!

    Click anywhere on my note above and it will take you to the site

    Try resetting your permalinks

    dashboard>settings>permalinks just go in, don’t need to change anything and click save changes

    come back if that doesn’t fix

    Already tried that!

    I always use /%postname%/ – never had a problem before

    So when you edit a page, what is showing under the title as the permalink for say http://www.hha-probate.org.uk/heir-hunters-association/

    Has this ever worked?
    are you using the default menu’s or custom menus?

    Permalink is http://www.hha-probate.org.uk/heir-hunters-association/

    Not sure what you mean about the menus – I have just created a menu called Menu – I tried Twenty Twelve and changed to see if Twenty Ten would work – it didn’t!

    The hyperlink menus were made browsing to the page – and they don’t work either!

    sorted by friend:

    Sorted

    The problem was .htaccess file which required the following entry (easy really !!!)

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    Never had to change an .htacess before!

    Thanks for the help Robin & Maurice
