• Hi! I was wondering if there are some rules that limit the usage of the screenshots made to wordpress interfaces or wordpress plugin or theme interfaces… I want to make a tutorial website and I don’t know if I can legitimate use that screenshots… as I read there are copyright issues with this kind of screenshots let’s say for Adobe, Microsoft or other programs… they don’t let people modify the images or other kind of limits…

I also want to know about the screenshots made to wordpress themes… as I read it can be a copyright infringement if we use screenshots of other people websites…

Then you’ll need to talk to those websites’ owners, that’s not something WordPress.org governs.

All of the WordPress software and themes & plugins that are distributed on WordPress.org are released under the GPL license, which is all about freedom of use.

BTW we can’t give legal advice here.
