To keep more close contact to your volunteer group it would be very nice if you could set a date reminder on the birthday of the volunteer or other date fields to sent a happy birthday card.
Is it possible to connect date fields from the participants database to another plugin who can give reminders?

I suppose you could install a plugin that sends out such emails and alter it so it gets it’s schedule from the database, but you’d be lucky to find one that can be customized like that.
