lightbox loading issue after last image | WordPress.org

When viewing images in the lighbox mode, we are able to navigate left and right to see the next or previous images.

Issue came when we reach the last image in the gallery, where clicking the right navigation button will make the lightbox trying to load the next image where it’s not in existence! And this goes on forever.

Same thing happen when we are at first image and clicking left button.

Is there anyway the lightbox can know that there’s no other image after the last one?

Hi

This is an issue with how you have it setup I’m afraid.

If you have it on ALL content on a page, it will try and open images even if they’re not in a gallery (for example avatars, or twitter icons etc).

The way to get around this is with CSS selectors, so in the settings you choose CSS selecors and enter the class of the element surrounding your images, for example with WordPress galleries the HTML of the gallery is something like this
```
<div class = 'gallery'>
//code here with all the images
</div>
```
To have Social Gallery work only on the images in the gallery you need to put the following in the selector settings

.gallery a:has(img)
