multiple sliders one 1 page

Hi,

I’m trying to get started with the sliders; but I’m afraid I’m not getting it all very well.

Is it possible to have multiple (different) sliders on one page? I’m think it can be done because there is the opportunity to work with shortcodes.
But how can I generate those slides, specific how can I add an image to a slide ? (I read on the forum it use the featured image; but that’ s not an option for me…)
