• Hi,

I’m trying to setup a product in a photography site and I’m wondering how best to do it.

Basically, each photo will have some print options, for example, a poster in different sizes and paper types, or a card which could be a greeting card or postcard, or a mug etc.

I have been able to create Categories for each group, like a Poster category, Card category or Mug category and then for each I’d have the different Attributes. But this means creating the same photo product in each category.

What I’m looking at is to create a product which is a Photograph and then the visitors have the option of choosing either:
    – A poster of the picture in different sizes and paper combinations or
    – A card which is either a greeting card of postcard or
    – A mug
or a combination of any of the above.

My question is how best to do this?

    thanks a lot in advance

In order to try some configurations out, I have created a couple of Attributes. Two of them go together, like paper and size and these are linked, Visible on Product Page and Used in Variations.

Another Attribute is Greeting Card. This is not linked, not used for Variations but when I select Visible on Product Page, it doesn’t show on the product page.

I am assuming it should show on the product page, or is there another setting I should be using?
