Some messages that I translated don’t appear on front end. Most of the messages appear translated in my language, but not all of them and I think this appeared after last update (not sure though). The messages that are not automatically translated are: “per”, “The price for membership is %s now and %s per Year.”, “Select” (button) and the list can go on. Can you do something about this? Thank you!

Can I please receive an answer on this? This is a bug, it’s not a customization. I looked into the files for the messages that are not automatically translated and some of them are missing now, although they were in the files before the update, or so I remember.
Examples: the message “select” is still in the files, but it is being translated, although in the po file I wrote the translation. Same for word “per”. But the message “The price for membership is %s now” is not located in the files anymore, or maybe I don’t know where to look. It is translated in the .po file, but on frontend it shows the english version. The problem is I can’t find those messages so that I can hard change them straight into files. Can you help me with a location?

There are also items that are not available for translating because you didn’t use <?php _e(‘Billing Information’, ‘pmpro’);?>. You just hard coded the message. Example: on the account page, “Billing Information” is hardcoded as a H3 tag. Unless all messages are included in the .po file, the translation doesn’t help us a lot because after each update we will have to go into the files and hard translate some items.

I assumed that bugs have a priority in answering, especially that this plugin doesn’t come cheap.

These forums do not support commercial products. Only the free plugins downloaded from http://wordpress.org/plugins/. Please contact the plugin’s vendor directly with any comments, or questions, about commercial products.

Please excuse the confusion, I wasn’t very clear. I didn’t buy the plugin yet because I want to test it first. So I have to use this forum for support. However, considering that I found several bugs and the support is very slow, I think I will change to another plugin of this kind. Thank you! I will still wait a few more days for an answer.

Dolph, Esmi. The Paid Memberships Pro plugin is very cheap. It’s free. And all of the code is available in the WP.org repo (i.e. no premium version).

We do however charge for support, and paying members get priority.

RE you translation issue. The localization of PMPro is new and we’re working through it. Can you email me your .mo and .po files so I can take a look?

Saw that you are using a different plugin, so closing this thread for now. Please follow up by email.

I didn’t start yet to use another plugin because, as I said, I was willing to wait for a few more days for a reply from you. If you will provide me with your email address, I can send you the files. Thank you!
