How do I use this Plugin?

    I’ve connected the API, but how do I get the plugin to show up on the website? All I did was created the api key and named it. Idk if i’m supposed to do anything special with the API (I’ve never used facebook apps before), or if I’m supposed to use a shortcode on wordpress, or what.

    Help is much appreciated!

    Hey there.

    Did you read the installation instructions?

    After configuring the plugin you can show a list of your recent Facebook posts by using the [recent-facebook-posts] shortcode.

    I followed these steps too and seemed to have success until I read the following on my home page of the website that I’m trying to link to facebook:

    Fatal error: Uncaught OAuthException: (#100) Unknown fields: created_time,object_id,status_type,from,type. thrown in /home4/gaeln/public_html/wp-content/plugins/recent-facebook-posts/includes/facebook-php-sdk/base_facebook.php on line 1271

    I’m also confused as to what to type into the other settings and App details boxes, can you please advise. The number of boxes is overwhelming and I’m not sure if they all need details.

    Hi Gaeln,

    My guess is you have the same problem as this user. In the plugin settings, please post a numeric ID of your Facebook page. You can use this tool to find the ID of your public page.

    Thanks Danny, it does look to be the same and I tried to change my ID to the public page one but I can’t find where to edit this information, can you please advise? Thanks
