YSLOW Pagespeed Issues

Thanks for building and sharing a great plugin. I have been working on my site speed (thinkingbeyondborders.org), and I’ve found two issues using YSLOW I’m hoping you can help with, as I’m a bit of an amateur:

1. I’ve been searching through my site trying to figure out how to fix this:

“The following external CSS files were included after an external JavaScript file in http://thinkingbeyondborders.org/. To ensure CSS files are downloaded in parallel, always include external CSS before external JavaScript.

2. I’m not sure if there is a reason this is in place, or if this is something that can be resolved:

Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources:
