Visual & Text Editor Broken

Normally when I edit a post I can switch between visual and text display. Both tabs are there but I cannot switch off visual to text. I just copied my XML from my wordpress.com site to move it over to a custom url. The pages seemed to copy well enough, but when I try to edit them or creat a new page I can no longer access the ‘text’ tab even though I can see it. I’m using responsive theme and I used the wordpress importer plugin to do it. Is there a fix so I can use my Text Editor again? Please help!
