Widget appears differently on some pages

    So I added a text widget with the [eventlist] shortcode and I had to play around with the styling a little to get it line up the way I want it.

    The problem is on the main page the alignment is not right but on all other pages it appears exactly as I want. Any ideas or suggestions? I assumed that via CSS it should appear the same across any page on my site.
