Show only an excerpt of a listing before user clicks? | WordPress.org

Right now on my listings page it shows all my listings and all of their fields:

Name
Address
Email
Business Phone
About Info
City
State
etc.

This is way too much content to show for just the listings page. Can I have the listings page just show a few of those fields and then when the user clicks one it will show them ALL info?

I’ve been digging around trying to find an option for this but now luck.

Hi crobley,

You can alter what the list view and detail view display under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. Beyond that, the detail view will always display everything. To do what you want, you’ll probably need to customize the template yourself to make that work. Here are two articles to help you get started on that:
