• I use wamp to run WordPress on my computer. It works very well.

But yesterday, when I clicked to “DashBoard”, it still stayed on the home page, not to the dashboard.

I tried localhost/wp-admin, but it also failed. It worked well before.

Anyone knows what’s wrong with my localhost? Thanks.

  • When you go directly to the /wp-admin and it fails, do you mean it loads a blank page, loads nothing at all or redirects to the homepage? Or something completely different?

thanks for replying. It redirects to the homepage.

What happens if you go to /wp-login.php instead of /wp-admin? Also try /wp-admin/index.php and let me know what happens there, too.

For /wp-admin, it goes to the login page, after I type username and password, it directs to the homepage.

For the /wp-admin/index.php, it also directs to the homepage.

What happened? Should I try delete the reinstall wordpress?
