    Hello,

I did submit more detail (site URL) in my email/form on your contact page on your website.

We have been successfully using your plugin for almost 8 months. We have recently moved to a new webhost (same domain name) and now the plugin will not work. We get a message that “Address or zip code not found. Please try again.” We have attempted to deactive, delete, and reinstall the plugin. We have also requested and received an new API key. Nothing seems to be working.

We have been asked by the new webhost to verify “what all php extensions/modules are required for the plugin to work. Also any php restrictions that will hinder the plugin to work ?”

    Thanks in advance.

I’m sorry you are having issues with the plugin after the move to the new server. One common issue users have with our plugin is not clicking the activation link in the Sunlight Labs API Key email. If you are using the new API key you requested, make sure you have clicked the activation link in the email.

But since you already know that your original API key was activated and was working on the other host, I suspect the problem may be with your new server settings.

Please tell the webmaster of the website to enable allow-url-fopen in php.ini
    http://www.php.net/manual/en/filesystem.configuration.php#ini.allow-url-fopen

Also, disable the cache option for testing, then when allow-url-fopen is enabled and CongressLookup works then enable the cache again.

Please let me know the results of the above actions.

CONFLICT: Please try deactivating all plugins except CongressLookup. If CongressLookup does then work, turn on one plugin at a time and test it again until you find the plugin it conflicts with. Please let us know what plugin this is. If, however, CongressLookup still doesn’t work when it’s the only plugin, then a conflict is not the problem.
