Hi mtporter,
Sounds like CSS formatting issues that might be coming from your theme. Try switching to a default theme first to verify this is indeed the case. If that’s true, then you’ll need to adjust the column width on your (real) theme for BD a bit using custom CSS. Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with Business Directory in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of BD: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-bd-2-1/
Yes, changing theme verified it may be the theme, but yet on another site with the same theme no problems… I haven’t modified the themes on both
Not sure why it would work on one but not the other. There must be some difference between the two sites. I would suggest a plugin/theme conflict test to find the exact cause. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/
